My favorite colors are all shades of blue and yet when I took this class with Stephanie Klauck, I was drawn to Orange! Orange is a combo of yellow and red and considered to be an Energetic Color! The color orange can make one feel encouraged, uplifting and overall warmth! It is my son's favorite color, always has been since he was a little boy. He is the 5th of my 7th children and definitely brings warmth to our family.
To create this card, I stamped several images from #Altenew newest stamp set Fashion Monger Dahlia. I fell in love the moment I saw this set on #altenew's blog. Once I had all my images stamped using mango smoothie, paper bag, orange cream and autumn blaze I set those aside.
I then took out a sheet of A2 water color paper and primed with water. Using The Spring Garden Watercolor Brush Marker Set, I took Warm Sunshine and Autumn Blaze and let the colors freely flow down the paper adding enough water to allow for the inks to absorb into the paper. The end result is just fantastic don't you think? To finish the card off,
I popped the flower with 3D dimensional foam and added the sentiment and bling!
